Prospex Marinemaster 1968 Heritage Automatic Diver's SLA081 Seiko's first high-beat diver's watch, developed in 1968, is an important milestone in the history of Seiko diver's watches. With a high-precision 10-beat automatic movement, a one-piece case construction, a unidirectional rotating bezel and a screw-down crown, this model laid the foundation for the further development of Seiko divers' watches, which have been setting standards in precision, durability and user-friendliness for professional and recreational divers for 60 years now. The dial: a tribute to the rough seas The design includes a high-contrast dial for excellent readability and a distortion-free mirror surface. A new dial pattern was created to celebrate the 60th anniversary. The raised and recessed dial structure pays homage to the rough sea and its roaring waves - a tribute to ‘The Great Wave’ of Seiko diver's watches. New movement and new clasp The model is equipped with the new, high-precision 8L45 automatic movement, the most accurate Seiko currently has to offer. The impressive power reserve of three full days guarantees constant performance and reliability. A new clasp with sliding adjuster allows for more precise and comfortable adjustment of the bracelet. The fit can be adjusted quickly and accurately at the touch of a button - no tools required.
