Description of the watch

The limited edition King Seiko model SJE121J1 also celebrates the successes of Seiko founder Kintaro Hattori, the pioneer of watches made in Japan. The deep brown dial with gold accents features the Nanako pattern. A detail that harks back to the early days and connects history with the present. Hattori already used this delicate embossing, whose name means fish roe, on the first Seiko pocket watches. The covers were decorated with this fine grinding pattern, and the small dots have symbolised luck and prosperity in Japan for centuries.
