SJE107J1 Watch KING SEIKO Automatic 3-hand
Description of the watch
The KING SEIKO SJE107J1 combines a flat dial with faceted indices and ‘Diamond Cut’ hands to precisely echo the key design features of the original from the 1960s. The new, slimmer design picks up on the original, sharp and angular KSK design with wide horns and shiny decorations. This model is equipped with the high-quality 6L35 calibre. In a new purple colour, ‘Tenjin-fuji purple’, the dial motif is reminiscent of the wisteria that blooms at the Kameido Tenjin Shrine in Kameido, Japan, the birthplace of the first Seiko king. Founded in 1661, the shrine with its bridge and flowers is a major tourist attraction and was the subject of the famous Ukiyoe artist Hiroshige Utagawa's ‘In the Kameido Tenjin Shrine Compound (Kemeido Tenjin Keidai)’, which is said to have influenced the impressionist master Claude Monet.
