Description

The Astron GPS Solar SSJ013J1 is one of the world's most advanced wristwatches. It features a new GPS Solar movement, Caliber 3X62, whose improved reception of solar signals has increased the watch's accuracy. The watch features a blue dial with a pattern that evokes the quartz crystals used to create the tuning forks of the original Quartz Astron introduced by Seiko in 1969. The titanium case and bracelet have a super-hard, scratch-resistant coating. The hour markers and hands are coated with Lumibrite, making them easy to read under all viewing conditions. Finally, reading is facilitated by a sapphire crystal with patented “Super Clear” treatment, which makes the glass almost disappear and offers unparalleled reading comfort. This model is a limited edition of 1,500 pieces worldwide, with the theme of a clear summer sky filled with brilliant stars.
