WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU ALWAYS CONSULT AN AUTHORISED SEIKO DEALER.

You should entrust your repairs to your usual concessionaire or another dealer of your choice, who will either repair your watch or refer it to a workshop. Authorised workshops are distributed throughout Germany and trained in new technologies. Repairs carried out by these workshops are guaranteed for one year (for complete overhauls).

If your watch is still under warranty, you should always carry the international warranty card with you when you take it to your dealer.

It is required in order to be able to take advantage of the free repair.

You can find the contact details of our dealers on our website under the heading AUTHORISED DEALERS.

WARRANTY PERIOD

The international warranty is 3 years.

THE SEIKO GUARANTEE

In Germany, your watch must have been purchased from an official dealer authorised by SEIKO Germany. In Europe, this may be any other dealer authorised by the official distributor of the country where the purchase was made.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS

• This covers the case, movement, dial, hands and any metal bracelet. Not covered are glass, batteries, bracelets made of materials other than metal and scratches caused by normal use. Likewise, damage caused by natural disasters such as earthquakes or floods is not covered.

• Many watches from SEIKO are waterproof. If your watch is marked "WATER RESISTANT" on the back of the case, this guarantee covers damage caused by water penetration (see the table on the different degrees of water resistance and possible use under FAQ or Tips).

• It is only valid if duly completed and dated by the official and authorised SEIKO dealer who sold the watch. We reserve the right to refuse any liability for warranty repairs if the watch has been altered or damaged by a person not belonging to a SEIKO authorised service centre. We do not accept altered or forged warranty certificates or photocopies of warranty certificates.

• This guarantee does not invalidate the specific legal rights of the owner of the watch. Since 19 February 2005, new laws have strengthened consumer protection. They are the result of the implementation of a European directive. Its aim is to harmonise guarantees at a European level. They apply to sales concluded after this date.
