From the bar to the wrist: the Presage Cocktail Time collection has always been a showcase for extraordinary dials, inspired by real cocktails. To mark the anniversary, the spotlight is on the specially created ‘Edo Murasaki’ cocktail. Its exact recipe remains a closely guarded secret. Classic Murasaki cocktails, named after the Japanese word for violet, often feature floral notes, violet liqueur and gin or vodka, and are occasionally complemented by Japanese ingredients such as shiso or lychee. The violet hue is reflected in the finely textured dial, which reveals ever-changing, vibrant facets depending on the angle of the light. Gold-coloured details on the logo and GMT hand add subtle accents and lend the design an extra touch of elegance.
