Long before smartwatches became commonplace, Seiko demonstrated just how innovative digital timekeeping could be with the digital chronograph that later became known as the ‘Rotocall’. Its distinctive feature: it is operated not via pushers, but directly via the rotating bezel. This serves as the control centre for functions such as the alarm, timer and second time zone. For the anniversary edition, an Edo-violet dial and a colour-coordinated aluminium bezel are paired with an all-black case and strap. Subtle gold details on the logo and displays round off the design.
