Hand-assembled by Seiko's skilled watchmakers, this new Speedtimer is powered by the 8R46 calibre. The 8R46 calibre incorporates a vertical clutch and column wheel mechanism to ensure the highest levels of precision and durability. Just like the 1969 original, every detail of the design of this new creation is designed to reflect the precision required for elapsed time measurement at the highest level. The sub-dials and markers on the outer ring of the dial are white, making them stand out against the blue dial. The chronograph hands are red to enable accurate reading of time at a glance.
