The limited edition Prospex Black Series SLA061J1 (1800 pieces worldwide) is a modern reinterpretation of the 1970 model. The dial pattern reflects the texture of the sand on the ocean floor. The seconds hand, in orange, adds a subtle and understated accent. The original 1970 version has long been appreciated by fans around the world for its robust design and the streamlined case marked by an asymmetric crown extension at the four o'clock position. The domed sapphire glass crystal features anti-glare coating on the inside. The sides of the case are carefully polished and the watch is presented on a five-row stainless steel strap creating a modern and sharp profile. It comes with a second strap in black silicon. This timepiece is powered by the 8L35 calibre, designed specifically for diving watches by the watchmakers at the Shizukuishi Watch Studio in northern Japan.
