Description of the watch

The new Speedtimer is hand-assembled by Seiko's skilled watchmakers and powered by calibre 8R48, which features a column wheel with vertical clutch and a three-tipped hammer that instantly resets all functions to zero. This model is inspired by the popular SEIKO Archive Chronograph, which was released in 1973 and is known by the nickname ‘Sunrise’. The dial is in a special colour that expresses the scene of a glowing morning sky and symbolises the beginning of a new era, in keeping with Speedtimer's 55th anniversary.
