Description of the watch

Seiko is introducing grey ceramic to the Astron collection for the first time. With an innovative mix of materials, precise details and a clean, progressive design, the two new models combine high-tech features with sporty luxury. Grey ceramic accentuates key design elements of the models, including the bezel, the central strap sections and the top of the crown. For a futuristic look, the two-piece bezel combines ceramic and aluminium. Twelve precisely machined recesses in the aluminium are deliberately incorporated as a design feature and define the watch’s distinctive appearance. The Calibre 5X83 automatically adjusts the time, time zone and summer and winter time at the touch of a button. It also features a chronograph for timing up to twelve hours with an accuracy of 1/20 of a second, as well as a second time zone with AM/PM display.
